That is how we have grown exponentially.Mechanical Commissioning Engineers will work as part of the CAI Data Centre / Building Commissioning team and be responsible for the commissioning of mission-critical mechanical equipment, start-up and testing, as well as developing maintenance programs and plans. Building commissioning professionals develop and execute the commissioning tests to demonstrate to the customer that vendor equipment is correctly installed and ready to operate, support enhanced design reviews, and consult on submission of LEED / Green Star qualification packages.Mechanical Commissioning Engineers will be responsible for the following:Development of mechanical equipment and system test scriptsAttend and be an active participant of customer equipment FWT/FATVendor coordination and managementPerform equipment inspection to ensure build adherence to vendor submittalProvide test and documentation that equipment is delivered, installed, and tested correctly and set to function properly for customerSupport and perform design specification review, manufacturer submittals, schematic drawing sets, and project schedule documentationQA/QC of mechanical equipment installation/startupAssign test commissioning tasks to mechanical commissioning teamExecute test scripts to confirm equipment and system operation to design specificationEnsure safe work practices are followed by all on commissioning team and customer siteEngage with customers to ensure positive experience, goals achievement, and schedule adherenceProvide daily reports for mechanical commissioning team statusConduct facility walk downs, turnover, and punch list reviewsGeneral understanding of LEED / Green Star specifications and requirementsRequirements include:BS in a mechanical or engineering field or equivalent years’ experience2 years or more of experience in commissioning and qualification in a regulated industry, or facility engineering / facility managementExperience in 1 or more of the following:Data centre construction / commissioningMission Critical construction / commissioningBuilding commissioningFacilities and mechanical equipment startup walk downs & troubleshootingHVAC equipmentFluid/hydraulic systemsTABFactory Witness Test experienceMechanical commissioning processesEquipment / facility handoverData Centre facility operations experience is desired, but not requiredExcellent verbal and written communication skills in EnglishMS Project experienceAble to travel internationally if required.
