Stewart Burr and Mayr Lawyers are a well-established law firm located in Redcliffe, Strathpine, and Caboolture, and we are currently seeking an experienced Wills and Estate Solicitor, preferably also with some experience in either Property Transaction or Family Law to join our team on a full-time or part-time basis with some working flexibility to work from home if preferred.
Responsibilities: Providing legal advice on wills, trusts, estate planning, and administration. Drafting and reviewing wills, powers of attorney, advance health directive, trusts, and estate documents. Representing clients in probate and estate administration matters. Assisting with estate litigation, including disputes over wills and trusts. Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Collaborating with financial planners, accountants, and other professionals as needed. Assisting our conveyancing department with enquiries in relation to conveyancing matters. Signing off on settlements using PEXA. Requirements: Strong knowledge of estate planning and administration. Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills. Empathetic and client-focused approach to legal practice. A current practicing certificate and eligibility to practice law in Queensland. What we offer: A supportive and friendly environment.
