! This is no ordinary loss adjusting role ; You'll be the go-to expert for loss management, risk assessment, and technical advice in the general insurance and business world.
Basically, you'll help clients navigate claims and make sure they get what they're owed—fairly and on time.
Claims Handling & Adjusting: Spot opportunities to help clients with claims prep/loss adjusting and turn those leads into happy customers.
Set up service agreements and handle any pre-approvals needed.
Investigate and manage claims, making sure they're handled right under the policy terms—so clients get valid pay-outs without unnecessary delays.
Keep track of your time and work (aka WIP) accurately.
Invoice promptly and stay on top of payments (no one likes chasing money).
Be ready to travel, both locally and internationally, when needed.
Networking & Cross-Selling: Look for chances to introduce clients to other cool services we offer (like eService's, Consulting, and Education) and help your teammates deliver them.
Keep your insurance and risk management contacts warm—it's all about building relationships to get the best results.
Playing by the Rules (But Keeping It Smooth): Follow all the important laws (like the National Privacy Principles and Insurance Contracts Act) and our internal procedures—no cutting corners.
Help train and develop other team members when needed.
Keep things organized with monthly updates on opportunities, WIP, and payments.
