This role is based in the Central-West Orana Renewable Energy Zone, at the site of the largest wind farm in NSW, located in Wellington.As a successful candidate, you will demonstrate the following:Extensive experience in Bulk Earthworks projects, including large-scale excavation, grading, and soil stabilization activities.Strong technical knowledge of earthworks processes, materials, and construction methods, ensuring the efficient and safe execution of work.Proven ability to prepare and interpret project plans and designs, ensuring alignment with engineering specifications and project goals.Experience managing project schedules and budgets, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget, with an emphasis on minimizing costs and delays.Skilled in managing site teams and subcontractors, providing leadership, direction, and support to ensure high-quality execution and adherence to safety standards.Capacity to provide detailed reports and updates to project managers and senior engineers, highlighting project status, risks, and challenges.Processing of subcontractor progress claims and issuing of subcontractor payment certificates.What do you bring?In addition to the above, we require an individual with:A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in civil construction, including bulk earthworks and road construction.Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering and a white card.The ability to lead and support road and major earthworks crews from an engineering perspective for wind farm construction.Willingness to work on a fly-in/fly-out basis with an industry-standard work cycle on a DIDO or FIFO 10:4 or 21:7 roster.Proficiency in using project management software and tools, such as MS Project, Primavera, or similar platforms to track progress, costs, and resource allocation.What’s in it for you:Generous Employee Referral Program: Refer talent and earn a bonus.Discounts Program: Access everyday savings at over 400 retailers.Career Growth Opportunities: Our dynamic industry offers endless possibilities for professional development and advancement.
