Your Opportunity
We currently have an opportunity for a Raw Materials Lab Technician at our Regency Park site to help build a world where there are more possibilities for more people.
Responsibilities
* Ensure all Raw Material deliveries are received and audited in a timely manner, physically as well as in SAP system.
* Reviewing and auditing important Food safety documents.
* Maintaining and improving quality and food safety systems by performing analytical testing, analytical instrument calibration and maintenance.
* Training and coaching the site team in quality processes and testing.
* Conducting internal audits, generating and analysing reports and support with customer complaints and investigations.
* Chemical preparation handling.
* Ensure compliance with Hold and Abort systems.
* Comply with site GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) Policy to ensure quality and food safety of products manufactured comply to specification.
Qualifications
* Qualifications in Science (Chemistry) or Food Science or related discipline.
* Previous laboratory experience in similar manufacturing environment.
* High level of technical skills in the areas of instrumentation and/or chemistry & mechanical reasoning.
* Ability to work cohesively and collaboratively within a team environment with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* High levels of self-management and initiative with the ability to plan and prioritise, along with set and achieve targets.
