way", where Australians benefit from our local knowledge, how we listen to their needs, provide honest advice and pricing, as well as our flexibility to personalise and shape our homes around them.About the RoleAs our Supplier Partnership Specialist, you will be the linchpin between our Franchisor team and our Franchise Owners, driving cost savings and efficiency through optimised local supplier relationships and procurement processes.
This role demands a blend of strategic thinking, hands-on execution, and exceptional negotiation and relationship management skills.
You will:Analyse existing procurement practices within franchise businesses to identify cost-saving opportunities.Negotiate competitive rates and service agreements with local trades and suppliers.Establish localised buying groups to leverage collective bargaining power.Develop and maintain a register of local trades and subcontractors, fostering strong relationships.Train Franchise Owners and Estimators on effective procurement processes and supplier assessment.Assist with quote analysis and supplier comparisons, ensuring best practice.Ensure compliance with preferred supplier agreements, removing roadblocks and driving efficiencies.Support showroom and display home setups with appropriate supplier products.Align Franchise Owners with logistical solutions that improve on-site efficiency and pricing.Monitor supplier performance and address any issues.Drive engagement with preferred suppliers at both national and state levels.Develop and maintain a trade pricing register to benchmark costs.Conduct Bill of Materials reviews to identify cost-saving opportunities.Contribute to achieving a 2-3% bottom-line improvement in material costs.This role is based in our Franchisor office in Birtinya on the Sunshine Coast, offering a hybrid working model (2 days in office, 3 days WFH).
