Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Polymer Technician to join our dynamic team.
The successful candidate will oversee key technical aspects of devulcanization and cutting of rubber products, contributing to the continuous improvement of our recycling processes.
o Manage and monitor the devulcanization process to ensure the efficient recycling of rubber materials.
o Support the development of new techniques to improve process efficiency and material quality.
o Maintain quality control of devulcanized materials to meet company standards.
* Rubber Cutting and Shaping:
o Oversee the cutting and shaping processes to ensure precision and consistency.
o Implement techniques to enhance product quality and minimize waste.
* Technical Support:
o Provide technical support and recommendations to senior management on process improvements and new technologies.
o Prepare and present reports on process performance and opportunities for improvement.
* Research and Development:
o Conduct research on materials, technologies, and methods to enhance products.
o Collaborate with the R&D team on testing and validation of new technologies.
* Quality Assurance:
o Ensure all products meet industry standards and customer specifications.
o Maintain and monitor quality control processes throughout production.
* Collaboration and Communication:
o Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate engineering processes.
o Liaise with international partners and suppliers on technical matters.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Polymer Technology, Materials Science, or a related field (three years of relevant experience may substitute for formal qualifications).
* At least 5 years of experience in polymer technology or polymer processing, preferably in the rubber industry and in a similar environment.
* Strong knowledge of rubber materials, devulcanization processes, and cutting techniques.
* Hands-on experience with product development and quality assurance in manufacturing.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
