The Building, Engineering and Maintenance Services at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Maintenance Planner (Rural) to join their team on a permanent basis.
Your opportunity
The primary focus will be to provide effective scheduling and coordination of preventative maintenance within BEMS and carry out accurate input of maintenance tasks and repair details into the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
About the Team
The Building Engineering and Maintenance Services (BEMS) provides integral maintenance and engineering support for multiple facilities across the Mackay Hospital & Health Service, ensuring relevant compliance to OH&S and all relevant AS/NZ standards. We provide a one-point contact for all building and facility-related information.
The BEMS team comprises various qualifications, skills, and occupations including professional, administrative, operational, and trades staff. The trades provided by in-house staff include electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical. Contractors are used to complement in-house trades staff to provide an efficient and effective service.
