As our next WHSEQ Advisor, reporting to the Manager WHSEQ, you will work closely with the project and site teams to provide operational WHSEQ support at the project level. The role will drive, support, and monitor compliance with the Company's Business Management Systems and legislation across different projects. This role is responsible for but not limited to;Training & Mentoring – Train / mentor project and operational teams on Serious Injury, Fatality, and Environmental Risks (SIFER) tools and Safety Certainty 2.0 program Reporting and Compliance – Support project and site teams with upcoming audits, assist in the development and approval of SWMS, ensure works are performed in line with the WHS Management Plans, oversee worker inductions and training compliance Stakeholder Management – Support the project team with the implementation of the Safety Certainty 2.0 program, assist contractors onboarding in the use of MSA's Serious Injury, Fatality, and Environmental Risks (SIFER) manual and tools Operational Duties – Attend daily pre-start meetings, Co chair toolbox meetings and provide WHSEQ inputs, complete site observations and inspections, conduct indicative Drug & Alcohol tests, complete incident investigations and attend project and customer meetings when required, This role offers an attractive and competitive salary package and opportunities to apply and develop your skills across dynamic and challenging projects and sectorsAbout You As the successful applicant you will have : Stong communication skills including the ability to collaborate with others;Strong work ethic and a solutions based can-do attitude; Sound skills in Microsoft Office tools and safety based applicationsCertificate IV or greater in Work Health and SafetyDemonstrated experience working as a WHSEQ AdvisorPrevious experience working in the Construction / Engineering industryICAM Investigation Training (desirable) How to apply Send your resume and cover letter to (email protected).Applications close 7 December 2024
