We are seeking a passionate Consultant – General Surgeon to join our team and provide exceptional inpatient, outpatient, and community-based specialist medical services to the Riverland community and the broader population within the Riverland Mallee Coorong Local Health Network (RMCLHN).

About the Role: As a Consultant – General Surgeon, you will provide high-quality inpatient, outpatient, and community-based specialist General Surgical Services, as well as sub-specialty medical services, to the Riverland community and the broader population of the Riverland Mallee Coorong Local Health Network (RMCLHN).
Your key responsibilities will include: Providing expert general surgical care to inpatient, outpatient, and community populations Supporting the education and training of health professionals within the network Conducting and supporting research initiatives within the LHN Encouraging and fostering teamwork for optimal clinical service outcomes Providing expert advice to internal and external committees and workgroups as requested This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the community while working within a dynamic and supportive team environment.

What We're Looking For: Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians OR an OTD with an assessment form RACP as 'substantially comparable' Clinical experience relevant to the essential specialist qualification.
