About the business/role/team The Innovation Lab is the RBA's vehicle for proactively exploring the impacts and opportunities of emerging technologies and trends. Right now, we're laser-focused on AI technologies and trends that are crucial for both policy and Bank operations. As the Manager of Innovation Lab, you'll report directly to the Senior Manager and collaborate with business and IT stakeholders across the entire Bank. Identify and evaluate emerging AI technologies and trends to inform strategic decision-making. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, prototype, and implement AI use-case at scale. Ensure all AI initiatives comply with Australian government regulations and ethical standards. Foster a culture of innovation, encouraging experimentation and continuous learning. About you Strategic thinker with a visionary approach to AI innovation. Self-starter with a proactive attitude and strong problem-solving skills. Proven experience in influencing and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Understanding of the unique nature of central banking and the ability to take a measured approach to balance risk and rewards in AI initiatives. Expertise in data analytics and AI/ML technologies. Up to date with recent developments in AI and continuously eager to learn. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, able to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
