About the Role: As a Financial Analyst at Barkuma, you will be a key member of the Finance team, you'll play a key role in developing analytics that support the organisation's strategic goals. You'll create tools to track performance, forecast future outcomes, and maintain financial and asset management plans. As a senior technical expert, you'll prepare reports for management and the Board, assist with benchmarking, and support insurance and risk management efforts to ensure data-driven financial strategies. Key Responsibilities: Coach managers on financial literacy and commercial skills.Develop tools for annual budgets, forecasts, and capital planning.Conduct benchmarking exercises and gather key data.Use Power BI to generate reports, dashboards, and analytics.Manage Barkuma's insurance policies.Supervise staff as needed.Support and improve Barkuma's Quality Management Systems.Document finance and property procedures. What you will need be successful in this role: Experience in the management of financial operations of similar size organisation.Experience in Management Reporting (including variance analysis/KPIs).Knowledge of and understanding of the appropriate legislation, policies and procedures.Skills in producing Power Bi reports and dashboardsExperience in liaising with a wide range of internal and external stakeholdersAbility to work to a high level of accuracy and meet deadlines.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Desirable: Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Nightingale, and Power BI.Knowledge of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and government funding.Familiar with Disability Employment Services (DES) funding. Qualifications and Clearances: Tertiary qualifications in Finance/AccountingCurrent NDIS Worker Screening (or willingness to obtain).NDIS Worker Orientation Module 'Quality, Safety and You' (or willingness to obtain).Appropriate infection control certificate.Current DHS Working with Children check.Appropriate Child Safe Environments certificate.
