This role is a critical interface between the Whitehaven Operations / Site and the People and Culture Business Unit.Responsible for supporting the site managers and frontline leaders with core people processes, culture and engagement, and managing general HR activities for the site.Responsibilities include managing and overseeing the human resources functions specific to Daunia, whilst ensuring the workforce is compliant with industry regulations, well supported, and equipped to work safely and effectively in a challenging environment.What You'll Do:Support the standardization and rollout of the P&C initiatives across the group operational businesses by influencing and working collaboratively across the P&C operational BU.Site-based coaching and development initiatives, supporting change management, workforce optimization, facilitating culture and engagement initiatives, and managing IR, ER, and performance matters.Maintain awareness of relevant safety legislation and company policies.Work with the Daunia site to ensure our people are skilled, competent, and available to meet operational outcomes.Comply with the Health and Safety Management System and Plans, legislative requirements, and safety instructions and directions, contributing to the company goals.Support the Operation and Organisational Leadership, Capability, Talent Management, and Forecasting Operational needs with a 3-5 year outlook.What You'll Bring:A Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or similar.5 years minimum Human Resource generalist / Business Partnering experience ideally within mining, heavy industry, or construction environments.Demonstrated knowledge in and/or understanding of employment law.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Track record in successfully delivering key HR initiatives.Resilient and adaptable.Structured and analytical thinker problem solver.To apply:Click here#J-18808-Ljbffr
