As an Assurance Manager supporting the technology stream, you will:Work closely with Bank Led Migration Stream leadership, Product Owners, Journey Experts and your assurance colleagues in the identification, assessment and management of risks and issuesEmbed risk awareness and escalation and record risk information as neededConduct Risk & Controls Assessment - ensuring sound documentation of risk information across the portfolio for introduced riskCoordinate and manage end-to-end risk workshops, to produce risk assessmentsUse your strong communication and presentation skills to connect with stakeholders across impacted business segmentsSupport the teams with compliance obligations managementEnhance risk reporting and ensure material decisions are capturedLeverage confluence to meet our risk reporting requirement and ensure visibility of Non-Financial Risk with all key stakeholdersBring creativity by challenging what's possible whilst keeping the safety and financial wellbeing of our customers at our coreDevelop a strong understanding of the teams' needs and priorities to ensure risk and compliance is built into feature design. What will you bring? For this role you should ideally have experience in identifying and managing non-financial risks related to the customer journey or customer experience. Experience in assurance activities at ANZ will also be well regarded.To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:Proven experience in risk management, assurance or operational excellence, ideally supporting project assurance or risk delivery changes especially as it relates to technology delivery and data governanceTechnology domain specific experience including Cloud, cyber security, technology processes and big dataUnderstanding of data management specific to the financial industryThe ability to identify, understand and anticipate the needs of those who can affect or be affected by the programThe ability to gain the commitment of others through a range of techniquesThe ability to build and nurture relationships, both internally and externally, to maintain and foster mutually trusting and empathetic connectionsThe ability to use logic and reasoning to analyse, evaluate and synthesize a range of information to understand an opportunity or challengeExcellent communication skills, ability to identify, articulate and communicate risk findingsMust be able to work successfully in a complex, sometimes ambiguous environment as part of a small team.You're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
