Permanent Part-time 48 hours per fortnight· Culture of caring; both patient and employees· Friendly & collaborative team environment· Our values – We Care, We Do, We Strive, and We’re a Team.An exciting opportunity exists for a dynamic Registered Nurse with experience or a desire in quality improvement to join our Quality and Infection Prevention Manager at Darwin Private Hospital.Reporting directly to the Quality and Infection Prevention Manager, you will assist with the facilitation, implementation and monitoring of the Hospital’s clinical safety and quality framework.You will assist the Quality and Infection Prevention Manager in quality improvement initiatives, projects and activities to maintain patient safety, patient experience, accreditation standards and regulatory compliance, in accordance with the mission, vision and values of Darwin Private Hospital.As a Quality Assistant, your duties will include but are not limited to:Participation in clinical data collection, collation and analysisParticipate in case review investigationsReport writingMeeting minutes and associated administration functionsAssist the Q&IP Manager with staff onboarding and vaccinationsSkills and Pre-requisitesDesire and passion for Quality Assurance and infection preventionProblem solving and analytical skillsInnovation and creativityA willingness to learnDemonstrated ability to navigate Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel), software programs and databasesFlexibility and openness to new ideasThe position is for 48 hours a fortnight and there will be an opportunity to backfill the Quality and Infection Manager to cover leave.
