The Role We're looking for a Senior UX Designer to join our high-growth, fast-paced team.
In this role, you'll work collaboratively and autonomously with Product Managers, Engineers, Tech Leads, our CTO, and even our Sales, Marketing and Customer Experience teams to shape the future of our user experiences.
Your insights and designs will directly impact how our clients and end-users interact with RateMyAgent's products.

Responsibilities Engage in Dual-Track Agile: Work in parallel "tracks" to drive product discovery—research, ideation, and prototyping—while supporting delivery so designs land in users' hands quickly.Deep Customer Insight: Identify gaps in our knowledge of user needs and conduct both quantitative and qualitative research to fill those gaps.
Synthesise insights to guide product direction.End-to-End Design Ownership: From user journeys and wireframes to delivering high-quality designs for both mobile and web platforms.
You'll ensure every aspect of the user experience is thoughtful, intuitive, and validated.Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Partner with product owners, engineers, and data specialists throughout the design and development process.
You'll be central to ideation, solution, delivery, and measurement.Influence Business Outcomes: Use design thinking to tackle OKRs, solve immediate user pain points, and drive impactful results for the company's bottom line.Facilitate Workshops: Co-lead workshops that align teams on problems, challenge assumptions and converge on solid solutions—all while keeping the user's voice front and centre.Elevate Visual & Interaction Design: Create engaging, on-brand visual interfaces that simplify complex user flows, refining through feedback and testing.
Then, we bring it all together into our design system and ensure we consistently deliver the best experiences.Running usability testing frameworks: e.g.
Experience conducting SUS surveys to quantify user feedback.
Single Ease Question (SEQ): Understanding of when and how to apply SEQ for quick, focused feedback on task difficulty.Prototype & Deliver: Partner closely with Engineering to build functional prototypes, leveraging fast CI/CD processes to ship value frequently and measure success.Champion Our Values & Principles: Promote collaboration, transparency, and user-centricity.
Influence product and design principles to elevate the entire product group.
Requirements Proven UX/Product Design Experience: Adept at designing end-to-end user experiences, including research, validation, low/high fidelity design, interaction design, and delivery – towards a business outcome.A strong understanding of UI tools (Figma, Sketch, etc.)
to build screens, flows, concepts and prototypes to demonstrate ideas.Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Heap, FullStory, Hotjar, or similar for analysing user behaviour.
Ability to identify and set up tracking in these tools, alongside Product and Engineering teams, to measure the success of a design or validate a hypothesis.Technical & Business Acumen: You understand how design decisions affect the user experience and the product's goals (OKRs, revenue, customer engagement).
