We are seeking an experienced Procurement & Purchasing Manager to look after the end-to-end management of Fleet, Property & Supply Chain.The Procurement Manager - Supply Chain, Fleet & Property Management provides critical support to the O'Brien Glass Operations team with flexible & efficient supply chain function, industry leading fleet management and refurbishments, footprint strategy implementation & Property Management.About the Role:We are seeking a highly organised and motivated individual who can look after the procurement and purchasing strategy, maintain compliance and responsibilities for our Glazing Division. This role will have a focus on developing, leading and overseeing compliant and innovative procurements to provide better contracting outcomes and/or managing contracts and vendor relationships.This role will cover the below areas:Fleet: You will be responsible for maintaining current fleet leases, commercial fleet replenishment, asset management and refurbishment, compliance, cost management. This includes fleet utilisation and performance monitoring.Property: Implement and maintain our Footprint Strategy, Site Assessment & Risk Analysis, Lease Negotiation & Management, Building Fit-out, including liaising with trades, property managers.Supply Chain: Bulk Glass Purchasing & Supply Chain Management - Local & Import Including being responsible for the Supply Planning, Vendor & Supplier Management, Customs & Import Compliance, Inventory Control, Logistics Coordination, Local Supplier Management.Capex: Business Case Development.Sustainability: Identify opportunities to reduce CO2 emissions and landfill and mitigate risks of Modern Slavery in the supply chain.About You:You will be a highly motivated and organised individual who can work effectively, to deliver innovative procurement solutions, efficiencies, achieve value for money, reduce risk and maintain compliance in support of our Glazing Operations.Degree qualified, preferably with recognised qualifications in a commercial or procurement field and at least 5 years experience in a similar procurement function including a strong fleet management background.Experience with commercial vehicle body builders and property leasing knowledge preferred.Operationally focused with strong communication and collaboration skills, a highly skilled negotiator with very strong commercial acumen.Strong analytical skills and the ability to lead and inspire belief in the procurement function, including a demonstrated ability to link implementation of procurement initiatives to profitable growth.Outstanding communication abilities, enabling you to articulate complex procurement strategies to senior leadership, stakeholders, and teams alike, ensuring buy-in and alignment with broader organisational goals.Competency in pre-legal review of draft leases.Experience with Factory/Warehouse property leasing.Glass or construction industry background.A good working knowledge of logistics, inventory management processes and capability.Position: Laptop, Phone, Hybrid work flexibility.Staff Discount: Receive discount on products & services.Wellness Program: Access to our Employee Assistance Program.Employee Rewards: Employee rewards and exclusive discounts across thousands of retailers.Community Support: Ability to support your favourite charities and community, including a paid volunteer day each year.Learn more about O'Brien: www.obriencareers.com.auO'Brien is an equal opportunity employer.
