We are seeking an experienced HR Administrator to join a large and dynamic team of business support staff. You'll love the diversity, flexibility, and autonomy here. You will co-ordinate a variety of Human Resources specific tasks, providing structured advice and support to a dynamic operational workforce of approximately 170 employees (working both on land and at sea). No 2 days are the same in this exciting role!!
To shine in this role, you will have a genuine desire to assist / support / advise the broader GBRMP Region Team with all generalist HR related matters. You will work closely with the Regional Support Officer, Regional Director and Divisional HR Team, working collaboratively to assist and respond appropriately.
As a successful Administrator (HR) working within the Business Support Team, you will:
• Have contemporary knowledge of or the ability to rapidly acquire a sound knowledge of public sector legislation, policies and standards in the specialist area of Human Resources.
• Have excellent interpersonal skills, with strong ability to communicate both written and verbally to a diverse audience.
• Have strong analytical problem solving, project management and research skills.
• Effectively work collaboratively with other internal work groups, Traditional Owner stakeholders, and external agencies.
