Change Manager (AO8) 3-4 month contract starting ASAP | Brisbane & Work from Home Join a large Queensland Government Department as the Change Manager (AO8), providing high-level support across key areas such as audit, finance, procurement, and strategic engagement. About the role: The Change Manager role will join the People and Culture team and focus on workplace and organisational change. Flexibility is offered in this role with 3 days in office/2 days working from home, with a standard work day of 7.25 hours. Key responsibilities include Lead change management activities across multiple projects. Provide expert strategic and tactical advice, ensuring all necessary change management elements are embedded in plans, related policies, processes and procedures. Lead the communication of relevant information to all stakeholders to ensure changes are understood and to foster commitment to these changes Ensure change management related risks and issues are promptly identified and effectively managed through the development of appropriate risk management strategies and initiatives. Develop and deliver a set of actionable and targeted change management artifacts and plans including stakeholder analysis, communication and engagement business readiness plans, and embed and sustain plans that support successful implementation. Your experience to date will include: Apply high level knowledge of change management tools, methodologies and techniques and the ability to develop and implement pragmatic change management plans. Apply knowledge and skills to enable and influence others to engage in change processes. Successfully use excellent oral and written communication skills and build and maintain productive working relationships and influence others to support change. Apply a self-directed and flexible approach to work, responding to emerging issues and reprioritising work activities as required. Share knowledge and experience, acting as a coach or sounding board as needed to build change management capability of the business. Queensland based candidates only.
