The role provides high level, expert advice to the Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service (GCHHS) Executive, and holds single point accountability for achieving outcomes expected of the service line to contribute to the achievement of GCHHS vision.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage emergency health services with a focus on quality and sustainability.Provide expert advice to the GCHHS Executive.Achieve outcomes expected of the service line.Manage a substantial budget and a large, diverse workforce.Maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, Executive and Board level management, and multi-disciplinary staff.Qualifications and ExperienceThis is a role for a strong and collaborative leader with a successful track record in leading services within a large and complex healthcare organisation, a strategic and comprehensive approach to planning and decision making, and demonstrated ability to manage a substantial budget and a large, diverse workforce.
