Then this role is for you. Position Responsibilities – This is a key leadership position that is accountable for efficient and effective operational management of the hospital after-hours. The role supports and encompasses bed management, clinical care, planning, implementing and evaluating care practices, policy compliance, processes and services within the hospital. This role reports directly to the Assistant Director of Nursing - Inpatient Services. About You To be successful in this role you will be a positive and effective leader who has the ability to motivate others. You will bring extensive clinical skills and experience along with exceptional interpersonal skills. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to manage your time effectively and support the clinical and non-clinical teams to provide high-quality patient-centered care. This role will suit both an experienced nurse stepping up into leadership or a more experienced clinical manager. Selection Criteria: Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent Registration with AHPRA Desirable minimum 5 years postgraduate experience within Acute Medical or Surgical Nursing Demonstrated ability to be an effective role model in the area of clinical practice Demonstrable experience leading and coaching change Sound Computer skills in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook) Ability to multitask and prioritise Post Graduate qualifications in Business, Nursing or other relevant to the position (or working towards) To Apply: Please click on the 'Apply' button to be taken to our online application form.
