We are seeking a skilled Credit Controller to join our close-knit Finance team at our client, a thriving technology firm in Australia. With offices across the country and globally, they pride themselves on delivering cutting-edge solutions using the latest technology and methodologies.
The Opportunity
As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for managing the credit and collection function within our company's policies and procedures. Your key duties will include:
* Monitoring overdraft and delinquent accounts to ensure timely payments
* Maintaining debtor agreements in our Debtor Management System
* Providing expert advice on inquiries, identifying optimal solutions
* Restricting account access when necessary

About You
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess:
* A strong background in credit control, with over 3 years of financial experience preferred
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* A willingness to take on challenges, particularly with complex billing scenarios using medium to large ERP systems
* A professional work ethic and a preference for corporate environments
Essential qualifications include:
* A Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent diploma
* High-level verbal and written communication skills
* Proficiency in basic software, including Xero and Excel
