About the Opportunity
TheQscan team inNorth Hobart are looking for aMedical Receptionist to join them on aPermanent Full-Time basis. As a Medical Receptionist you will be the first person our patients see, you will support with greeting and registration for appointments, answering queries in person and over the phone, and managing a variety of administrative responsibilities including calls and emails. As part of our clerical team you will also create supportive relationships with your colleagues, our clinical staff and doctors.
This position is offered on aPermanent Full-Time basis, working from 8am – 6pm Monday to Friday with 7.5 hour shifts. Day to day responsibilities: Be the first point of contact for patients, handling face-to-face and phone registrations, bookings, triage, and queries. Manage payments, issue receipts, and handle billing and invoicing. Operate our booking system efficiently. Assist with back-office activities, including outbound calls, data entry, and reporting as directed by your manager. About You
In addition to your passion for excellent patient service and your confidence working with systems and being organised;
Previous experience as a receptionist, in a medical or health-based setting is highlydesirable. Strong people and communication skills, both in person, verbally and in writing. Ability to manage competing priorities and tasks while maintaining timely service. Adaptability to various databases and systems.
