We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engine Technician to be based in Karratha.
Key Responsibilities
* Detect and resolve engine issues, perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance for customers in various sectors including Mining, Marine, On Hwy, and Power Gen.
* Service Cummins On Hwy and HHP products, attend to field breakdowns, and provide marine customer support on and off shore.
* Diagnose and repair gen sets across industrial and power station customers.
* Engage in engine rebuilding and reconditioning.
* E nsure adherence to Health Safety & Environmental policies, procedures, and legislation, reporting any issues or incidents to the Field Service Supervisor.
* Complete required documentation such as service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, and quality documents via handwritten forms or business system input screens.
Requirements
* A relevant Heavy Diesel trade qualification - Heavy Vehicle Mechanic (to Australian standards).
* Experience as a technician in the service and maintenance of heavy equipment/engines in field service, with Cummins experience preferred.
* Previous experience working in remote locations.
* Solid diagnostic and IT capabilities.
