Custom Build Manager As Custom Build Manager, you will be part of the Wagners Composite Fibre Technologies group and will manage the Custom Build component from estimation to project completion. Working out of our corporate office based at Wellcamp, Toowoomba, you will play a pivotal role to ensure every project is executed to meet client expectations on time and under budget, and work toward exceeding monthly revenue. This is a full-time position with a competitive remuneration package including base salary and 11.5% superannuation. Main Responsibilities Leadership of a team comprising estimators, designers, and project engineers. Estimation – work with estimators, the commercial manager, and the procurement team to ensure RFQs and quotes meet SOPs and have sound engineering to ensure detailed designs align with estimated concepts. Design – ensure all designs are accurate, coordinate with the project engineer on timelines, and ensure approvals, certifications, and products supplied do not compromise whole-of-life warranty provisions. Project management – manage end-to-end projects ensuring key activities such as DFMAs, resourcing, financials, and forecasts are all managed. About You To be successful in this role you need to: Demonstrate success in a similar managerial role leading a team to deliver successful projects, preferably in the manufacturing or infrastructure industry. Prove that you have extensive project management experience. Prioritise workloads to manage conflicting deadlines and changing project priorities. Exhibit excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to ensure all parties in the project (such as manufacturing and fabrication teams) can deliver on project timelines while maintaining effective communication with clients. Hold a Bachelor of Civil/Structural Engineering or similar. Have previous experience in civil/structural design management and optimisation, which will be highly regarded. Why Wagners?
