We’re looking for an energetic and skilled hairdresser to bring your talents to our Lyndoch Living facility in Warrnambool, Victoria. About the role:
* Transform and style the hair of our lovely residents – from cuts to colors, perms to blow-dries, and everything in between!
* Create a fun and relaxing experience, making sure each resident feels pampered and cared for.
* Maintain a clean and safe space while providing top-notch hair services.
* Work with our wonderful team to schedule appointments and make sure our residents are looking and feeling their best!
What we are looking for:
* A qualified hairdresser with a Certificate III or IV in Hairdressing (or equivalent).
* Previous experience in a salon or similar setting, and ideally, experience working with senior adults (or a genuine interest!).
* ABN, public liability insurance, and a National Police Check (or willing to get one).
* Your role will involve keeping track of our hair care products and tools, making sure they are always fully stocked and in good working condition.
* A great attitude, excellent time-management skills, and a passion for making people smile.
To be considered for employment with Respect, each candidate must satisfy the legislative requirements of Aged Care Worker Screening to ensure suitability to work in the aged care industry.
