The role includes the provision of a telephone enquiry service and general administrative services at other times.Duties For The Role IncludeGeneral telephone enquiry service three half days per week.Administrative support for the investigating solicitors within the LPCC.There is some flexibility regarding fortnightly hours.About The BusinessThe Legal Professions Conduct Commissioner is tasked with regulating the conduct of legal practitioners admitted and enrolled in South Australia as well as interstate and registered foreign legal practitioners practising in South Australia.
The Commissioner investigates allegations of misconduct arising from complaints received and conducts own initiative investigations where no complaint has been received but the Commissioner otherwise has sufficient information to suspect that misconduct has occurred.About YouExcellent telephone manner and an ability to relate well with a variety of peopleDemonstrated ability dealing with requests for service and problem-solvingAbility to work under limited supervisionProven experience in providing quality customer serviceSome knowledge of the South Australian legal systemSpecial Conditions for EmploymentEmployment is dependent upon a National Police Certificate clearance that the Commissioner finds satisfactory.
