About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and passionate Web Developer to join our team and play a crucial role in enhancing the online presence and digital experience for our students and stakeholders. This role will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of our website and web applications, ensuring they are user-friendly, informative, and aligned with our brand identity. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain the College's website, ensuring it is visually appealing, user-friendly, and optimized for various devices. Design and implement new web applications and features to enhance the online learning experience and improve student engagement. Collaborate with the marketing team to create and maintain an engaging online presence, including social media integration and content management. Ensure website security and data integrity, implementing appropriate measures to protect sensitive information. Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, ensuring optimal performance and uptime. Stay up-to-date with the latest web development technologies and trends, recommending and implementing improvements to enhance the College's digital platforms. Work collaboratively with other departments to gather requirements and ensure web solutions meet the needs of the College community. Manage and maintain the college's Intranet and Share Point sites for efficient collaboration. Essential Requirements: Proven experience as a Web Developer with a strong portfolio of successful projects. Proficient in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, Java Script) and back-end technologies (PHP, Python, or similar). Experience with content management systems (CMS), preferably Word Press. Strong understanding of web design principles, user experience (UX), and user interface (UI) design. Knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO) best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Proven ability to develop Power Apps and automate workflows using Power Automate. Desirable Experience within the RTO Environment: Experience in web server management and administration. Experience in IT Infrastructure Management. Managing Windows Server Domain Controller (DC). Administering Microsoft Exchange servers. Overseeing fileserver management. Managing web servers including Apache, Nginx, and c Panel. Experience developing and maintaining learning management systems (LMS). Familiarity with RTO compliance requirements and online learning standards. Understanding of student management systems and data integration. Experience creating online learning resources and interactive content. Experience with LMS, LRM, and student management systems in an educational environment such as Moodle, Wisenet, etc. Proficiency in Microsoft Share Point, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
