Highly established home building company in Brisbane due to growth are hiring for a Site Supervisor for a Chapel Hill multi-residential site.
Currently at frame stage Stage 1 = 17 homes Stage 2 = 9 homes Key Responsibilities of the Role: Manage a number of new home builds in construction concurrently within the respective type of home build projects listed above. Combination of single and double-story homes. Allocate materials and trades to job sites. Ensure timely construction of new homes within budget. Effectively communicate with clients, trades and management in a professional manner. Ensure construction of new homes are carried out safely and comply with company processes and procedures. Inspect completed projects to ensure a high standard of quality. Maintain and update company systems (ClickHome, OnSite Companion, similar software systems). Report to management regarding onsite activity. Negotiate with subcontractors and coordinate onsite works. Identify and resolve problems throughout the construction process. Role Requirements: At least 3-4 years experience as a Construction Site Supervisor within the volume home building industry. Tertiary qualifications within building and construction. Trade background will be highly advantageous. Demonstrated experience within the construction sector with excellent building knowledge. Ability to work in a fast-paced working environment and meet deadlines. Excellent attention to detail. Strong communication skills both written and verbal. Ability to build a strong rapport with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers. Proven track record of problem-solving. Team player. Excellent IT skills and computer literacy with construction-specific software packages. Commitment to WHS principles and practices.
