We are currently seeking a National Account Manager to take ownership of our Woolworths and ALDI portfolios, driving sales, managing key relationships, and executing strategic plans to ensure continued success in these channels.
The Role As a National Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing customer relationships, trade spend, promotional planning, and demand forecasting within the Woolworths and ALDI portfolios. Reporting to the National Business Manager, you will work closely with internal teams to deliver on key financial targets while ensuring our brands achieve optimal presence and growth.
Key Responsibilities Customer & Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for Woolworths and ALDI across designated categories.Develop and execute customer plans that drive growth and enhance business relationships.Work collaboratively with brand and category teams to ensure range review presentations and customer engagements are of the highest quality.Sales, Forecasting & Trade Spend Management: Own demand planning and forecasting processes, working closely with internal teams to optimise supply and manage stock levels.Ensure trade spend is controlled effectively and aligns with company budgets.Conduct regular financial analysis to monitor gross and net sales, trade spend, and gross margin performance.Promotional Planning & Execution: Manage the customer promotional program, including planning, costing, and performance evaluation.Analyse promotional ROI and recommend strategies to improve outcomes.Review and resolve promotional claim queries and pricing discrepancies in collaboration with the finance team.What We're Looking For We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional with a strong background in account management within the FMCG industry. The ideal candidate will have exceptional analytical and interpersonal skills, combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving and an ability to manage competing priorities.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.Experience: Previous experience in an account management role, including negotiation and promotional planning within an FMCG environment.Skills: Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and experience in Blueshift One is a strong preference.Strong financial and analytical acumen, with the ability to review forecasts and trade spend effectively.Excellent time management and project management skills.Demonstrated negotiation experience in an FMCG environment.Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.A team player who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Why Join Us?
