Our client is a Adelaide based software company with aglobal reach.They are seeking a Lead Data Scientist to join their innovative teamto develop and deploy high-quality AI-optimized scheduling and forecasting models. You will need to have a passion for investigating real customer problems and devising solutions through statisical and mathemantical analysis.Key Responsibilities: Develop, test, and deploy machine learning models to support the client's platform.Maintain and enhance existing data science codebases and automate forecasting pipelines.Provide ongoing forecasts, optimizations, and insights via the platform.Troubleshoot and optimize algorithms based on diagnostic and performance reports.Collaborate with internal teams and participate in research reviews and discussions.Communicate outcomes, changes, and new features to Client Support and Delivery teams.Work closely with analytical leaders to prioritize improvements and support sales initiatives.Lead projects and mentor junior data scientists.Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (Master's or PhD preferred).Experience in time series modeling and forecasting.Expertise in machine learning, optimization, regression modeling, or causal inference.Proven experience in Python and key libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, NumPy, PyTorch, Pandas).Proficiency in relational databases, SQL, ETL processes, and version control systems (e.g., Git).Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.Client-facing experience with excellent communication skills.Knowledge of reporting tools (Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.A desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.This position is Adelaide based and you will ideally be already be based in Adelaide or be willing to relocate for the role.If you are interested apply now.Please reach out to Jessica Gadsby on (08) 8112 7417 for more information and a confidential discussion.'' #J-18808-Ljbffr
