Job Title: Business Development Manager
Crafting our own path through new technology, innovation, and investment. As a Business Development Manager at Optus, your primary function will be to acquire new business and retain existing business to grow company revenue and subscriber market share in the Medium Segment.
About the Role:
* Deliver upon agreed sales targets in both acquisition of new customers – with particular emphasis on medium market space.
* Manage the development of a balanced and sustainable pipeline to deliver long term sales goals.
* Implement customer experience strategies to minimise churn and improve Optus' Brand in market.
* Work collaboratively with the Customer Management Team to ensure cross-sell opportunities are identified and actioned for this function.
Key Qualifications:
* A strong background in Business Development, commercially astute with sound understanding of business drivers.
* Ability to build a pipeline of opportunities through consistently achieving high levels of prospecting activity.
* Extensive relationship/strategic sales experience within the Telecommunications and/or IT sectors.
* Strong presentation skills - written & verbal to internal and external senior executives.
* Magnificent personal dedication and willingness to accept accountability for actions, complemented by effective negotiation skills, able to manage external and internal relationships with ease.
