Job Description
In this diverse role, you will enjoy the flexibility and autonomy to manage your own day, supported by a strong team of healthcare professionals. You will provide occupational rehabilitation services and psychological treatment to clients with various conditions. Your duties will include:
* Case management with manageable caseloads and support from Rehabilitation Assistants
* Applying clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes
* Developing and implementing injury prevention and workplace education programs
* Collaborating with injured workers, employers, and health professionals
* Building strong relationships with key stakeholders
* Providing evidence-based psychological interventions
* Completing assessments including initial assessments, treatment plans, and vocational assessments.
Qualifications
Our new team member will have:
* Tertiary qualifications in Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling
* Full or provisional Registration with AHPRA as a Psychologist or Registration with ASORC as a Rehab Counsellor
* Clinical knowledge of pathologies
* Strong communication skills
* Excellent time management skills
* A desire to problem solve and innovate
* A passion for injury prevention and return to work
* A current driver’s license and access to a vehicle
