THE ROLE
As part of our remote team based in Coffs Harbour (or surrounding locations), you will help make a positive impact on someone’s life every day. You will feel great satisfaction knowing your talent and hard work has a purpose.
Focus on early, timely and personal face to face claims management, helping injured workers return to work and supporting their employers.
You will undertake approximately 6-7 visits per week to best support our customers.
This is a Full Time Permanent position and will include a car allowance, laptop, and mobile phone.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
10. Deliver personalised face-to-face assistance to workers and employers
11. Provide workers’ compensation advice to stakeholders such as workers employers and providers
12. Conduct community visits inclusive of but not limited to work sites or medical clinics
13. Pro-actively achieve the optimum outcome of recovery and early sustainable return to work for workers
14. Consult with Providers, Employers and Return to Work Specialists where required
ABOUT YOU
15. Strong Rehabilitation / Return to Work knowledge and experience is ideal
16. Tertiary studies in Allied Health (Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Rehabilitation, Exercise Science) is desirable
17. Allied Health background is desirable - understanding of medical terminology and injury recovery timeframes
18. Knowledge of the NSW workers’ compensation legislation and regulations
19. Effective listener and conflict resolution skills. Ability to understand the needs of people recovering from a physical or psychological injury and knowledge of what is important to maximise recovery and return to work
20. Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, written and verbal proficiency
21. Own vehicle with a 5 star ANCAP rating, insurance & current unrestricted NSW Drivers License
