A Facilities Services Team Member is responsible in the first instance to the Facilities and Property Manager and through them, the Chief Operating Officer and ultimately the CEO and Executive Principal. All staff are employed by the CEO and Executive Principal of MBC and MBBC.
All staff need to be supportive of the values, Christian ethos and Ethical Statement of this Uniting Church Day school for girls from EY-12.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The Team member may be requested to carry out the following tasks at MBC and MBBC. A vehicle is provided for transit between Colleges.Undertake general facilities and maintenance tasks as directed by the Facilities and Property Manager. This may include minor trades work such as:General repairs and maintenanceGeneral cleaningHelpdesk requestsMoving furniture and equipmentCollect and remove wasteMove deliveries (supplies) directing traffic on campusEscort staff and community members to vehicles after hours when requested to ensure their safetySetting up for Assemblies, Chapel Services, sporting activities and other special events when required.Actively contribute to a safety citizenship culture upholding health and safety policies, procedures, hazard reporting and safe work practices.Perform a security check to ensure that the College has been secured following events held onsite.Be present on campus for events as required.Open and close the College when meetings and other events are held during their shift.Other duties as directed from time to time.SKILLS AND ABILITIES The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:
