Robert Half is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled professional to cover a temporary Finance Officer role for a 2-month leave cover contract, for a client based in Osborne Park.
As an integral part the finance team, our client is looking for someone with comprehensive knowledge of financial procedures, AP, AR and ad hoc duties.
**This role is being offered on a temporary basis so you must be immediately available and able to commit to a 2-month contract**
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Accounts Payable and Receivable: This involves managing all payments out (accounts payable) and all payments in (accounts receivable). This includes the production of invoices and following up on outstanding payments.
* Bank Reconciliations: Regularly reconciling bank accounts to ensure all financial data aligns with bank statements.
* Financial Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of all financial operations is crucial. This includes transaction records, invoices, statements, and other financial documents.
* Financial Reporting: Preparing financial reports summarising the company's financial status on a regular basis.
About You:
* Proven experience as a Financial Officer or similar role
* Strong knowledge of accounting and financial principles
* Excellent analytic and numerical skills
* Sharp understanding of data privacy standards
* Degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field.
