The Role
The Project Manager will work under the primary direction of the Commonwealth Project Representative and shall provide project management support services to the Commonwealth through the following tasks:
Project and Contract management;
Planning, scheduling, and estimating of work/tasks
Preparation of project documentation and project delivery reviews with industry subject matter experts;
Review and assessment of contractor project management deliverables;
Providing advice on the application of project management methodologies using Agile methodology;
Preparing risk management plans and documentation, conducting risk management workshops with stakeholders, identifying and tracking major risks and issues, and developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies;
Providing specialist project management assistance to executives, managers, staff, and project teams.
Essential criteria:
Project management knowledge, skills and experience in ICT projects, preferably software projects;
Experience working with, and integrating software into, ICT systems and networks;
Experience using an Agile methodology in project management; and
Proficiency with the MS Office Suite (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project).
Desirable criteria:
Systems engineering knowledge and experience in ICT projects, preferably software projects.
