About The OrganisationThis organisation oversees key sectors related to natural resources, focusing on policy, regulation, and sustainable development while managing industry growth and environmental impact.About The RoleThe organisation is seeking a EL1 Change Manager to lead a dynamic role, driving a data transformation project with a focus on stakeholder engagement, strategy development, and effective communication.Level/Classification: EL1Location: Canberra, ACTRole Vacancies: Multiple vacanciesContract Duration: 12 Months + 1x 12 MonthsRequirements:Selection Criteria responseBaseline Clearance or Ability to obtain onePolice CheckJob Summary:Take the lead in a dynamic change management role, supporting a data transformation project with high-level stakeholder engagement, strategy development, and communication.Key Responsibilities:Manage the organisational change management aspects of the project, focusing on communications, stakeholder engagement, and training related to the department’s data transformation journey.Engage a wide range of stakeholders, both business and technical, to enhance data communication, collaboration, training, and literacy.Develop and deliver organisational change management strategies, plans, and supporting materials, including high-level executive communications.Create training material to support the department's data literacy program and promote understanding of data transformation.Work with internal and external stakeholders to align messaging with government data strategies and ensure smooth adoption of transformation initiatives.Present key data artefacts and strategies to senior leadership, the Transformation Taskforce, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure the success of the project.Support the Chief Data Officer (CDO) with communication activities and presentations on the project.Experience Needed:Proven experience in organisational change management, with a specific focus on communications, training, and stakeholder engagement.Strong understanding of data transformation processes and how to manage the people aspect of change related to business tools, technology, processes, and structures.Ability to develop and implement organisational change strategies and training programs.Demonstrated experience working across different levels of an organisation, engaging with senior leadership and diverse stakeholders.Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills with a focus on influencing and engaging stakeholders.For further information or a confidential conversation about the EL1 Change Manager role, select 'APPLY NOW' or contact Alyanna Ensenado at 0261137521.
