Our client is a dynamic government practice specialising in employment law. This role offers an experienced Workplace Lawyer the opportunity to work across a broad range of matters, dealing with internal and external clients, and a mix of front-end advisory and litigious work.
About the Role
This role involves working on public sector employment law and the Queensland Industrial Relations system, exposing you to a diverse range of cases.
Key Responsibilities
1. Advising clients on employment law matters, including industrial relations and public sector employment law.
2. Representing clients in litigious matters, including court proceedings.
3. Mentoring junior lawyers in the team, while managing competing deadlines.
Requirements
* A minimum of 4 years post-qualification experience (PQE) in Employment Law.
* Up to 8 years PQE in Employment Law, preferably gained in a law firm environment.
* Experience in Industrial Relations and Employment law, ideally with a focus on Queensland public sector employment law.
