The Waste Services Branch
Toowoomba Regional Council’s Waste Services Branchmanages, operates, and controls the region’s waste andresource recovery initiatives across a range of Waste ManagementFacilities. The branch also coordinates and manages wastecollection services while providing education and awareness ofwaste and resource recovery to the community.
The team is composed of indoor and outdoor staff thatcollaboratively offer a wealth of knowledge and experience indifferent aspects of waste management and embrace individuals withenthusiasm, initiative and fresh ideas.
Driven by the TRC Waste Management Strategy 2021, we believethat setting out the waste and resource recovery needs of theregion is an essential service that plays a key role in minimisingthe environmental impacts of waste while creating economic benefitsfor the region.
About the position
As the Principal Program Development - Waste Management for theGreater Toowoomba Waste Management Facility you will be responsiblefor delivering projects and programs in alignment with Council'sWaste Management Strategy at our award winning waste facilities.You will work closely with the Principal Waste Strategy andPlanning and the rest of the team in a progressive, friendly andsupportive environment.
1. This position is a Full-time Contract based at our award winning Greater Toowoomba Waste Management Facility.
2. The base salary for this position is $100,107.84 - $106,175.89 gross per year, plus 17.5% annual leave loading and up to 12.65% superannuation.
