Your new role
As an APS6 HR Generalist, you will take a leadership role under limited direction, performing tasks such as:
Providing expertise, support, and guidance on complex HR and operational issues. Resolving challenges while anticipating future needs and outcomes. Overseeing team leadership, resource management, performance planning, and decision-making. Engaging with diverse internal and external stakeholders on sensitive matters. Contributing to strategic planning, program and project management, and policy development for long-term initiatives. Driving business improvement strategies to enhance inclusion and culture. Playing a vital role in achieving meaningful outcomes and making positive, lasting impacts on the community. What you'll need to succeed
Expertise in HR functions and a strong understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures. Proven ability to manage and resolve complex, sensitive issues in a Federal Government environment. Excellent writing skills for briefs and reporting. Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills. Experience in strategic planning, program and project management, and business improvement initiatives. Tertiary HR qualifications are desirable. To be considered for this role you must be an Australian citizen and currently hold an active Federal Government Security Clearance, Baseline at minimum.
