Base pay range A$140,000.00/yr - A$160,000.00/yr Broad and commercial responsibilities, complete autonomy to create in high-growth new division of an established international business. Just over 12 months into the journey of a new Aus & NZ division of an established international business. You will play a key role in the growth of the business over the next 5 years! You will act as the 2 IC to the ANZ GM and be responsible for creating a robust, commercial and high-tech financial environment. Paying up to 150k + Super and as the business and role grows, your salary will quickly progress into the 200’s, with additional opportunity for profit share. Working in a newly refurbished office space in Leichhardt with onsite parking, you will also get flexibility around start/finish times to suit your lifestyle. You will have the support of a very capable and reliable AP/AR Officer. In time, this team will grow further under your guidance and direction. As a top-to-bottom and hands-on Financial Controller position, this position would be a great fit for someone who has a well-rounded skillset and is a problem solver with exceptional commercial nous. Responsibilities: Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy to support business growth and profitability. Provide financial insights and recommendations to the ANZ GM and board. Lead financial planning, risk management, and strategic investments. Develop and monitor annual budgets and financial forecasts. Conduct financial analysis and variance reporting to improve financial performance. Provide cash flow forecasting and capital management strategies. Financial and Compliance Reporting Prepare and present financial statements, reports, and KPIs to the executive team and board. Ensure timely preparation and lodgement of ATO BAS, IAS, PAYG, GST, and tax filings. Ensure compliance with Australian tax laws and financial regulations. Oversee audits, regulatory filings, and internal financial controls. Payroll Oversee payroll processing, ensuring compliance with tax laws, superannuation, and reporting obligations. Manage payroll budgets and labour cost forecasting. Implement best practices for payroll efficiency and compliance. Leadership & Stakeholder Management Lead and mentor the finance team, ensuring high performance and compliance. Work closely with investors, auditors, and regulatory bodies. Develop strong relationships with banks, financial institutions, and key stakeholders. Profile: CA, CPA or equivalent qualified. Those not qualified or studying towards will still be considered. Proven experience working in a top-to-bottom Accounting/Finance leadership position. Systems savvy and capable with using various tools and systems.
