About the opportunity
We’re currently seeking a Claims Consultant to join our legal team on a permanent basis reporting to the Group team Claims Manager. You will individually proactively manage a blended and complex portfolio of public liability customer claims to effective and sustainable outcomes.
What you’ll do
Key responsibilities include:
4. Managing an ongoing portfolio of claims with a focus on delivering proactive and sustainable outcomes
5. Adopting a service-oriented approach that is focused on early intervention and the interests of all stakeholders
6. Analysing liability and quantum, and resolving claims within the approved delegation of authority in a timely and cost-effective manner
What you’ll bring
Ideally you will have a legal background or have previous end-to-end public liability claims experience assessing liability and quantum. As well as the following:
7. At least 2-3 years PQE in personal injury law
8. Strong end-to-end public liability claims management experience of PIPA claims
9. A solid understanding of PIPA claims and the ability to run a claim from start to finish including attendance at settlement conferences
10. Excellent time management and organisation skills
11. The experience to manage your files autonomously with the support of your Group Team Manager
