Tirlán is currently partnering with a 3rd party service provider for the provision of IT services. The company is embarking on a significant IT transformation programme to establish its own IT capability.
This project will require close collaboration with our partner and the development of new roles within the Tirlán IT team.

Job Description
The IT Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for maintaining the business's data centre infrastructure and working together with a managed service provider for Tirlán's data centres and server infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
* Set up, configure, and maintain hardware and software components within the datacentre.
* Oversee the central components of the Microsoft IT Infrastructure, such as Active Directory and related core IT infrastructure services.
* Direct managed service providers in performing routine maintenance tasks and upgrades on central IT infrastructure.
* Evaluate and implement security standards and industry regulations, and develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans as needed.
* Collaborate with other IT teams and business stakeholders to support new initiatives and projects.
* Participate in datacentre and central IT Infrastructure related incident management, liaising with service management, the managed service partner, and application teams.
* Contribute to the strategy development for Tirlán's Central IT Infrastructure.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* 3+ years' experience in Microsoft IT Infrastructure or similar.
* Familiarity with IT infrastructure services such as Microsoft Active Directory.
* Proven experience working with managed service providers in managing datacentres and IT Infrastructure.
* Knowledge of security standards and best practices, including ISO 27001 and NIST.
* Familiarity with virtualization technologies, such as VMware, and technical knowledge of server hardware, operating systems, and storage technologies.
* Knowledge of data backup and disaster recovery processes.
