About the Role
The Yard Coordinator will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations at Acu-Tech's Maddington site.
* Scheduling and Logistics: Execute collection and delivery schedules, booking yard collections, and managing time slots.
* Inventory Management: Assist in managing products arriving at and leaving the site, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
* Team Collaboration: Liaise with internal staff, subcontractors, and customers to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.
* Safety and Compliance: Identify and report irregularities, maintain housekeeping standards, and uphold workplace safety protocols.
* Yard Operations: Coordinate truck movements, ensure efficient loading/unloading, and optimise storage space for inventory.
* Documentation: Assist in preparing delivery dockets and verifying delivery costs.
* System Use: Utilise systems such as Evexco and Exo to manage yard logistics and inventory tracking.
Ideal Candidate
We're looking for a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can effectively manage on-the-spot decisions.
* Attributes and Experience:
o 3-5 years of logistics or yard management experience.
o A forklift license and a background in yard operations are highly desirable.
o Proficient in Excel and familiar with logistics systems like Evexco or Exo.
o Strong decision-making and communication skills, with the ability to lead and manage diverse teams.
o Physically fit and comfortable working in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.
