THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES System Administrator role focusing on the support & management of Windows Server, Failover Clustering, SAN, network switches, Azure cloud services, Office 365 applications, desktop computing, and other internal software systems. Work with a collaborative team and close-knit team with no ego's and be involved in a broad role involving both BAU & project delivery. This is a full time in-office role. Responsibilities include: Support, manage, maintain, administer, and improve on-prem infrastructure - Windows Server, Hyper-V, network switches, firewalls, WIFI, SAN storage, backups etc Manage, monitor, and administer Azure cloud services, including VM's, storage, networking, security etc. Support and manage M365 tenancy. Manage and deploy applications via Intune. Ensure effective and up-to-date documentation. Occasional assistance with escalated IT Support queries as needed. Drive automation. Delivery of IT infrastructure project including upgrades, migrations, deployments etc Full time in office role. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE / BACKGROUND / KNOWLEDGE Suitable for a hands-on System Administrator with on-prem and cloud infrastructure experience who enjoys a broad/varied role, including occasionally assisting end users with Desktop Support. Ideal for someone who wants to join a growing business, with a great team, and proactively contribute The following is required: Proven System Admin experience with the management, administration & support on prem infrastructure (Windows server, VM's, storage, networking etc). Competent M365 admin & support experience. Azure experience is beneficial. Automation / scripting experience is beneficial - PowerShell, SQL, Python etc Display logical technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Team player with no ego and a willingness to learn share knowledge. Great communication skills able to deliver complex IT concepts into easy-to-understand language. Patience personality with great attention to detail. Able to work full time in the office. This is a full-time permanent role located in the Inner West near Strathfield that is offering circa $110,000 - $120,000 (plus super) - depending on experience.
