About the Centre
Aspire Early Education and Kindergarten Huntly Village is an upcoming centre located in the regional suburb of Huntly in Northern Bendigo. Located on Waratah Road, Aspire Huntly Village is conveniently positioned opposite a local park and playground, and a 3 min drive from Huntly Primary School.
The Aspire Huntly Village centre will feature five state-of-the-art indoor rooms and spacious outdoor areas supporting children's development from six weeks to six years old. Each room is filled with high-quality educational toys, books, crafts, and imaginative play experiences, ensuring endless opportunities for discovery and fun every day!

The Opportunity & Responsibilities
As the Assistant Centre Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Centre manager in overseeing daily operations, including staff management, budget administration, and communication with families, employees, and internal stakeholders. You will work closely with our Head of Curriculum to lead a high-performing team and ensure the highest quality of care and education. Your role will be vital in creating a smooth, safe, and positive experience for children and families while fostering an inclusive and collaborative culture.
About you
* ACECQA-approved Diploma in Children’s Services or higher
* Proven leadership experience, ideally as an Assistant Centre Manager or in a similar leadership role
* Ideally will have had experience in setting up and opening a new service
* Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
* Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
* Ability to demonstrate innovative and creative thinking
* Passion, enthusiasm and a strong commitment to high quality care and children’s development and safety
* Current Working with Children check, Police Check, First-Aid Certificate, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
* Previous knowledge and experience in working with XAP software desirable
