Senior Planner Host/Havas Australia is growing and is on the lookout for a Senior Planner to join the team.
Your primary role as our Senior Planner will be to build brilliant brand ideas for clients and ensure that they result in ground breaking and effective creative work (in any channel).
As our newest Senior Planner, you will lead the strategic development of short and long-term projects.
In an overall sense, the you will be concerned with the relevance of the communication to the target audience across all advertising channels, and its effectiveness in the market.
The Senior Planner will provide the link between brand message, brand experience and technology while embracing the principles of UX and design that put people at the centre of ideas.
This means having an intuitive understanding of consumer mindset and behaviour, balanced with a keen understanding of digital and traditional channels and how people interact with them.
You'll be an expert at ensuring that complex arguments are made simple.

A strategic and visionary mind and the ability to maintain a balance between theory and pragmatism concerning how communications, advertising policies and brand experiences work will set you apart from the rest.

To succeed in this role you will ideally have: Between 5 and 8 years in strategic roles in an agecy environment.
A strong understanding of brand and advertising strategies.
Ability to lead the development of both campaign and platform strategy.
Proven track record in developing commercially successful brand strategies.
Thorough knowledge and understanding of current trends and advertising & marketing methodologies.
Understanding of digital technologies and platforms Confident presenter in front of clients and your team and highly experienced at leading clients through strategic development Highly articulate when it comes to writing briefs and presentations and strong ability to create compelling materials to communicate advertising strategies.
Competent in all facets of research, analytics and reporting
