What’s the role? Seeking a dynamic Senior Marketing Manager to spearhead the marketing strategy and brand communication of our lifestyle brands including news.com.au, taste.com.au, escape.com.au and more. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this is a hands-on role that spans both traditional and digital media. This role will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the growth and visibility of our diverse brand portfolio. Full time, permanent position based in our Surry Hills office. Flexible working is available with 2 days WFH. Key Responsibilities: Brand Strategy & Planning - Lead the development of comprehensive marketing strategies by leveraging both traditional and digital platforms. Campaign Execution - Lead the end-to-end creation and execution of integrated marketing campaigns ensuring they align with business objectives Audience Insights & Analytics - Utilise data to track, measure and optimise campaign performance Team Collaboration - Work closely to key internal stakeholders to deliver cohesive marketing initiatives Budget Management - Efficiently manage the marketing budget across multiple channels Partnership & External Talent - Identify and secure strategic partnerships to expand brand reach Trend Monitoring - Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies and competitor activities. Proactively recommend new idea to ensure competitively in an evolving media landscape Who are you? Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field 8 years of experience in Marketing, ideally with a focus on the media industry or related fields (broadcast, digital media, entertainment, lifestyle brands etc) Strong leadership abilities with experience building relationships with key stakeholders Proficiency in data analysis, campaign performance tracking and metrics-driven marketing. Experience with tools like Google Analytics, Adobe and social media analytics. Passion for new platforms and technologies like AI. Strong understanding of digital marketing, creative communications and brand development Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable presenting ideas to senior executives, stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
