The Department of Treaty, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Partnerships, Communities and the Arts is responsible for progressing the Treaty process, delivering services for communities and the Arts, and providing whole-of-government leadership and coordination in policy, program, and service delivery for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Queenslanders.
Your role
In this role, you will:
• Support the Senior Team Leaders and Managers by undertaking a range of administrative and financial tasks allocated in a constantly changing work environment to support innovation and efficient delivery.
• Lead administrative staff, providing direction, guidance, and support to achieve outcomes.
• Undertake the development, implementation, and maintenance of effective business support and administration systems and processes to ensure the effective management of the team's resources.
• Manage the rostering system to support an accurate and effective workforce timesheet and rostering function.
• Process financial approvals in line with delegations and established procedures.
• Undertake record keeping and archiving tasks to ensure records are managed and stored in an appropriate fashion.
• As a member of the team, undertake tasks and project work allocated by the managers in a constantly changing work environment to support activations, innovation, and efficient delivery.
